Due to repairs, Craven AHC will be closed through Friday, 20 November. However, we are conducting high risk only H1N1 vaccines at the Fort Monroe Community Activities Center (CAC; 100 Stilwell Road) Tuesday, 17 November, from 0900-1500 for High Risk and AD Military enrolled in Craven Army Health Clinic. All other flu vaccines will be open to other Craven enrollees Wednesday - Friday, 0900-1500. All previously scheduled appointments with Craven Clinic practitioners will be seen at McDonald Army Health Clinic, Fort Eustis, 3rd floor, at their currently scheduled appointment time. If your scheduled appointment cannot be kept, please call 1-866-645-4584 to reschedule. Thank you for your patience.

Bay Breeze offers Thanksgiving Day Brunch

Reservations are now being accepted for the Bay Breeze Community Center Thanksgiving Day Brunch. The event takes place Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The BBCC is located on Fenwick Road. Advance reservation tickets are $19.95 for adults and $10 for ages 5-11. Prices increase after Nov. 20. Call 788-2406. (View Nov. 13 Casemate)

Adverse Weather

The geographical location of Fort Monroe makes it subject to severe weather phenomena throughout the year. Hurricanes, tornadoes, and other forms of severe weather may endanger life, destroy property and cause disruption of normal operations. Hurricane season officially starts in June and ends in November.

The Fort Monroe Information Meeting


The Fort Monroe Information Meeting (MIM) is a bimonthly forum designed to enlighten the attendees about events pertinent to the Fort Monroe community at large. Garrison directorates, tenant service organizations (i.e., Craven Army Health Clinic, AAFES, Thrift Shop) and local private organizations are invited to share updates on their programs, services, and current events. All parties are welcome to attend.
